Multicultural Week

MC week so far has been fun. I got to try a lot of different foods. Although I didn't dress up according to the themes of each day, I saw other students and staff participate in that. I didn't take any pictures so far because I have been busy waiting in line and trying the different foods provided.

MSJHS Multicultural Week

Multicultural week at Mission is probably the most enjoyable week second to Homecoming. There are a lot of different types of food served to students and staff. Food is served Monday through Thursday then there's a Multicultural assembly on Friday. Lunch is made longer to allow the community to wait in long lines and to enjoy their food with their friends. Also, there are different themes each day of the week. Spirited students wear the countries of each day which is also matched with a color theme. Overall, its amazing to see how Mission's students come from all kinds of different cultures.

Shutter Speed and Everything After

1. This picture uses fast shutter speed because the trucks are moving  and the clarity of the picture is really defined.
2. Rules of composition: leading lines and rule of thirds.
3. Element of art: Space; because there is a lot of area above and below the trucks.
4. Principle of design: Movement; because the trucks are obviously moving and one of the trucks is smaller meaning it is farther away. Also, there is a truck on the floor which adds more to the movement aspect in this photo.
